Junior Business Controller

About the Role

Are you a financial professional with a keen eye for detail and strategic insight? Do you aspire to play a pivotal role in steering our organization toward success? We are looking for a Junior Business Controller to strengthen our Finance & Controlling team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial planning, control, and reporting of one or more key business units within our organization. Acting as a strategic partner to the management team, you will contribute to the professionalization and optimization of our financial processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Financial reporting for accounts.
• Conduct detailed analyses of financial performance and advise on strategic decisions.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure optimal financial management.
• Develop and optimize KPI reports to support business operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and cost allocation.
• Prepare business cases for new initiatives and investments.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and manage financial risks.

Who Are We Looking For?

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role.
• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with other financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in handling complex data analysis.
• Excellent command of Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is a plus.
• A proactive and independent work attitude, with a focus on results and quality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
